James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital (Tampa, Fla.), is building a $112 million outpatient clinic in Lakeland, Fla., according to an article in WUSF.
The new Lakeland VA Clinic will offer primary care, pharmacy, mental health, and specialty services, including physical therapy, podiatry, and radiology. Additionally, 650 parking spaces are planned as part of the project.
Construction is scheduled to start this spring.
The Tampa VA is also adding a clinic in New Port Richey, Fla., and a new bed tower at the main hospital in Tampa, which is slated to open in the fall.
