AdvantageCare Physicians (New York), a medical practice group in the EmblemHealth network, has completed two new primary and specialty care facilities in Bethpage, N.Y., and Uniondale, N.Y.
AdvantageCare Physicians relocated and consolidated its offices in Hicksville, N.Y., and Woodbury, N.Y., into an existing, 69,000-square-foot space in Bethpage, which underwent a $17 million renovation. The facility houses 50 examination rooms and 12 consultation rooms and offers cardiology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, rheumatology, oncology, ophthalmology, imaging, and OB-GYN services. An EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care facility is also on-site and offers free social services and resources, health and wellness classes, nutritional support, and education for community members.
The 25,155-square-foot Uniondale project features specialty clinical modules, including pediatrics, primary care, medical and surgical specialties, ophthalmology, and imaging, with lab support services planned for the future.
EW Howell Construction Group (New York) provided general contracting services for the projects.
