Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP; Philadelphia) added a new inpatient hospital in King of Prussia, Pa.
The 250,000-square-foot Middleman Family Pavilion at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, King of Prussia, is located on CHOP’s King of Prussia campus and is connected to CHOP’s existing specialty and urgent care centers. The new facility offers a range of pediatric specialty services, including orthopedics, plastic surgery, and ear, nose, and throat, as well as comprehensive radiology services.
The project includes 52 private inpatient rooms, including a 36-bed medical/surgical unit and a 16-bed pediatric intensive care unit (ICU), an operating room suite with up to four operating rooms and specializing in elective services requiring overnight stays.
The Middleman Pavilion also includes a 20-bed, 24/7 pediatric emergency department.
