MedStar Health (Columbia, Md.) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its renovated behavioral health facility at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, Md.
The $7.6 million, 13,000-square-foot project renovated an entire floor in the hospital with four new treatment areas, dedicated examination space, a quiet room, and space to conduct administrative hearings for patients receiving care.
Since 2012, the hospital has completed more than $100 million in facility improvements, including a new emergency department and the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute.
