National Action Plan Survey

HealthyWomen wants women to know that we are our own best advocates — and that self-advocacy is most effective when we are empowered by knowledge about our bodies and our health.

Out of our commitment to you and your health the National Action Plan (NAP) was born. Designed to identify the gaps in midlife women’s healthcare, the first step in the NAP is a benchmark survey. Using the results from the survey, we hope to address health disparities and inequities, the need for educational resources, the lack of awareness about chronic health concerns, social stigmas regarding mental and sexual health, and much more. We will also use the survey results to minimize those healthcare gaps by convening changemakers from the education, research and policy fields to begin finding solutions to the healthcare issues you care about most.

HealthyWomen is partnering with 13 other healthcare organizations to reach as many people as possible, and we couldn’t take on this effort without them:

Alliance for Aging Research
American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association
American Medical Women’s Association
American Psychological Association
Black Women’s Health Imperative
Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation
National Caucus and Center on Black Aging
North American Menopause Society
Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health
National Rural Health Association
University of Virginia Health System
