They’ve racked up over 69,000 reviews, nearly 49,000 of which awarded the shoes five stars.
So what makes these sneakers stand out? Shoppers consistently loved two things: the lightweight feel and sleek, everyday look. According to New Balance, these shoes are able to stay so light thanks to the weave of mesh and synthetic material in the upper part of the shoe. They also feature a signature New Balance midsole that’s designed to provide “incredibly lightweight cushioning” to keep you comfortable all day long.
And they do mean all day long. While many reviewers loved these New Balance shoes for running, what shoppers really liked was how they could go from the gym to the rest of their day without missing a beat, thanks to how stylish, sleek, and minimal these sneakers are. They’re perfect for working out, running errands, and walking to work and match just about every casual outfit you have in your closet.
“They work amazing for walking and as a cross-country runner, they are super light weight and fit comfortably!” one shopper raved. “Would definitely buy again!” Another shopper noted that the sneakers are a “Perfect fit, very comfortable … And they are light as a feather!”
Some reviewers did note that shoppers with high arches might benefit from slipping in an insole, as arch support isn’t a particular strength of these shoes. That said, many reviewers were able to wear the shoes all day long without any discomfort. One shopper who has bunions and wide feet said they typically experience foot pain after a day of wearing shoes. When trying on this pair, they “waited for my feet to start to complain. I waited all day and when I took them off my feet felt fine…no aches. I am thunderstruck.”
