Northeast Kingdom Human Services (St. Johnsbury, Vt.), a nonprofit behavioral health and counseling organization, is planning to open a new mental health urgent care, in Newport, Vt., according to the website vtdigger.org.
Named The Front Porch, the walk-in facility will offer short-term (up to 10 days) mental health stabilization treatment for patients experiencing mental health distress or suicidal thinking.
