Brookwood Baptist Medical Center Completes OR Addition In Homewood, Ala.

Brookwood Baptist Medical Center (Homewood, Ala.) celebrated the grand opening of its new operating room (OR) addition in Homewood.

The two-story, 28,840-square-foot project includes 10 new ORs with shell space for three more. A new pedestrian bridge, as well as administrative spaces were also added.

The project team includes Evan Terry & Associates (architect; Birmingham, Ala.) and Robins & Morton (construction; Birmingham).

The acute care facility is also renovating its 3,500-square-foot post-anesthesia care unit, which is slated for completion this summer.
