Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati is planning a $150 million, 203,000-square-foot renovation at its main campus in Cincinnati.
The project will involve converting the former emergency department (ED) into an indoor/outdoor dining area, updating the operating rooms on the third-floor surgical suite, and renovating the former sixth-floor cardiovascular intensive care unit to house a critical care pharmacy; large conference room for staff training, education, and virtual visits; and a new maternal fetal program.
The project team includes ZGF (designer; Portland, Ore.), GBBN (designer; Cincinnati), Kolar Design (designer; Cincinnati), Messer Construction Co. (contractor; Cincinnati), KFI Engineers (St. Paul, Minn.), and RCF Group (renovation partner; Cincinnati).
