Emanate Health (West Covina, Calif.) broke ground on the first of two planned projects at its flagship Queen of the Valley Hospital campus in West Covina, according to an article in the LA Business Journal.
The first $45 million, 60,000-square-foot facility, expected to be completed in 2022, will include a cancer center with radiation oncology services; 20-bay infusion center with chemotherapy services; outpatient ambulatory surgery center with four operating rooms; classroom space; and a 400-space parking structure.
The second project will house a 60-bed emergency department and a 24-bed intensive care unit. The $63 million project is scheduled to break ground in early 2022.
CannonDesign (New York) will serve as the architect on both projects.
