Integrated healthcare services firm Encompass Health (Birmingham, Ala.) has opened a new Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of North Alabama in Huntsville, Ala., for patients with neurological disorders, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions.
The inpatient facility, which replaces an existing hospital, features 85 private patient rooms, a therapy gym, in-house pharmacy, six-chair dialysis suite, courtyard, dining room, and dayroom areas.
In addition to 24-hour nursing care, the hospital offers physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
