INTJ Personality in Different Areas of Life

1. Relationship

INTJs are introverted, creative, and logical, when it comes to relationships, they like having their own personality space. They enjoy solitary activities, and honestly, they are not interested in others’ feelings or emotions until and unless the major talk is about their loved ones. They really care about their loved ones; they are willing to offer energy and time to make relationships successful and healthy.

As I said, they don’t prefer listening to other’s emotions, they like to keep their social circle small and only care about the people they love. You might see INTJs making small talk in social situations which makes it difficult to be understood by others. Sometimes, they might seem disinterested, aloof, and cool while making new connections.

Like other introverts, they also need some personal time to recharge after social situations. Psychologists believe that INTJs are more compatible with ESTPs, ENTPs, and ENFPs. Meanwhile, INTJs have less compatibility with ESFJs, ISFJs, and ISFPs.

2. Career

INTJs are highly skilled, logical, analytical, and creative people. Studies show that they are very knowledgeable people with higher expectations. They are best at conducting research, gathering information, and analyzing studies to find new insights. This means that INTJs need to choose a career or job that challenges them in terms of knowledge, intelligence, and information.

Therefore, they work excellently in fields of science or mathematics. Additionally, they also perform well in academics, engineering, research, and law. One important fact to remember here is that they are introverts and they like working alone and autonomously. Therefore, career options for an INTJ personality can be scientist, engineer, judge, teacher, doctor, dentist, and mathematician.

3. Friendship

INTJs are introverts, self-sufficient, and solitary. Therefore, while establishing friendships they might seem cool, aloof, and insensitive. Long-term friendships might not work for INTJs as they avoid listening to feelings or emotions until and unless they are highly involved in the friendship.

They have a small social circle and they are committed to very few friends. When it comes to friendships, they also prefer friends who are less dramatic, rational, and introverted.

4. Parenting

INTJ as parents are very attentive and thoughtful. In some cases, they might have higher expectations and can also seem manipulative. While raising children, you might see them very attentive and supportive. They might help their children in solving problems with self-directional ideas. If you are raising a child with an INTJ personality, you might have to teach them how to avoid perfectionism and work on expressing hidden emotions or feelings.
