Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in West Carson, Calif., is planning a new clinical building, as part of a $1.7 billion campus renovation, according to the website la.urbanize.city.
The six-story, 370,000-square-foot project will be located adjacent to the main hospital on campus.
The new clinical building will house an orthopedic clinic, rehabilitation services, specialty clinics such as oncology and surgical oncology, outpatient clinics, conference and education space, and physician and administrative offices.
The project team comprises HMC Architects (architect; Ontario, Calif.), CO Architects (architect; Los Angeles), and Hensel Phelps (general contractor; Greeley, Colo.).
Completion of the clinical building is expected in fall 2026.
