Henry Ford Health System (Detroit) and GoHealth Urgent Care (Chicago), an on-demand care company, are partnering to operate urgent care centers across southeastern Michigan.
Henry Ford-GoHealth Urgent Care centers will treat patients ages six months and older, providing comprehensive urgent care services, including imaging and COVID-19 evaluation and testing. Clinical care services will be available in person or virtually and continue to be provided by Henry Ford providers.
Three existing Henry Ford Macomb Urgent Care centers (Fraser, Mich.; Chesterfield, Mich.; and Bruce Township, Mich.) will transition to the new joint venture in late 2021, and multiple new sites across southeast Michigan are expected to open in 2022.
