Michigan Psychological Care (Alma, Mich.) is converting a former newspaper office into a mental health center in Howell, Mich., according to an article in livingstondaily.com.
The center comprises six therapy offices and administrative space. A warehouse space adjacent to the building will eventually house an applied behavior analysis center for children with autism.
Services at the center will include individual, group, and family counseling services, including treatment for anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, as well as psychological evaluations. Autism programs and hearing care services may be added in the future.
The Howell location is scheduled to open this spring.
