St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital To Add Family Respite Space

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., is adding Family Commons, a family-centered care facility, in Memphis.

The 45,000-square-foot respite space will include pre-K to high school classroom spaces, music and art studios, indoor and outdoor play areas, a café, and meeting space for patients and families.

The project is being built in collaboration with biopharmaceutical firm AbbVie and is scheduled to be completed in late 2022.

The project team includes ANF Architects (architect; Memphis), ICrave (interior designer; New York), Evans Taylor Foster Childress Architects (architect, Memphis), and IDEO (interior environment designer, San Francisco).
