Sutter Health Names First Chief Diversity And Inclusion Officer

Nonprofit integrated health system Sutter Health (Sacramento, Calif.) appointed Dana Beckton as its first chief diversity and inclusion officer.

Beckton will lead the health systems diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy while serving as a member of Sutter’s executive leadership team.

In her new role, she will work directly with Sutter Health President and CEO Warner Thomas and Interim Chief Human Resources Officer Gail Lerch to drive DEI programming and initiatives, including enhancing diversity in recruitment, training, and development.
