The Gayle and Tom Benson Ochsner Children’s Hospital Planned For New Orleans

Ochsner Health (New Orleans) announced plans for The Gayle and Tom Benson Ochsner Children’s Hospital at the Ochsner Medical Center-New Orleans campus in New Orleans, according to the website neworleanssaints.com.

The five-story, 343,000-square-foot facility will house an emergency department (ED), Level IV surgical neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), private patient rooms, and  family resource centers.

The hospital project is slated to break ground in mid-2024 and open in late 2027.
