Dell Children’s Medical Center Progresses In Texas
Dell Children’s Medical Center North is scheduled to open in late 2022 in Austin, Texas, according to an article in Community Impact. The project, which broke ground in May 2021, includes a 187,000-square-foot pediatric hospital with 36 beds, two operating rooms, endoscopy rooms, procedure rooms, sleep labs, and flex space. An adjacent 60,000-square-foot medical office building is expected to open ahead of the hospital’s opening. Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals (Phoenix) and developer America Development & Investments (ADI; Dallas) broke ground on several inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Among the projects are a three-story, 49,128-square-foot facility in Peoria, Ariz., with 40 beds, two physical therapy gyms, administrative offices, and dining, kitchen, and support spaces.
