St. David’s HealthCare (Austin) opened an additional St. David’s Heart & Vascular location in Kyle, Texas. St. David’s Heart & Vascular currently has 53 locations across Central Texas. The healthcare system is also planning a 160,000-square-foot acute-care hospital that will house 34 beds, with space to expand. Dana-Farber, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center To Partner On $1.7B Cancer Hospital

Boston-based Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center are building a new 688,100-square-foot freestanding cancer hospital for adults, according to bizjournals.com. The new 300-bed facility will connect to Dana-Farber’s existing facility in Boston. As part of the project, Dana-Farber plans to relocate 30 inpatient beds from a facility that it currently shares with Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
