Orlando Health Plans 300-Bed Hospital In Florida
Nonprofit healthcare organization Orlando Health (Orlando, Fla.) and multispecialty physician group Florida Medical Clinic (FMC) are planning a new hospital called Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch in Wesley Chapel, Fla. The project will be situated in Wiregrass Ranch, a 5,000-acre master-planned community. The 300-bed multistory facility will offer a range of healthcare services, including emergency and inpatient care. Nonprofit system Catholic Health and real estate investment company Simone Healthcare Development (Bronx, N.Y.) opened a new $47 million ambulatory and urgent care center in Centereach, Long Island, N.Y. Situated in a former retail building, the 63,000-square-foot outpatient facility includes primary care and specialty services as well as a walk-in urgent care, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, and dedicated gastroenterology suite.
