AdventHealth Winter Haven ED Hits Project Milestone In Florida

AdventHealth West Florida Division (Winter Haven, Fla.) topped out a new emergency department (ED) connected to the campus in Winter Haven. The ED is the first phase of a 42-acre development project on the healthcare campus, which will also include a 192-bed hospital and a medical office building. Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (Athens, Ohio) has selected the project team to build a $66.9 million translational research facility project on campus. Located near the college’s medical school, the facility will house faculty and student translational research and will be the new home of the college’s community health programs.
