Orlando Health To Add Freestanding EDs In Florida
Orlando Health (Orlando, Fla.) is adding two freestanding emergency departments (EDs) in Orlando and Longwood, Fla., according to the website beckershospitalreview. The 18,000-square-foot Orlando facility will be situated on a 5.57-acre site, which housed a former motorcycle dealership, according to the website orlandohealth.com. The second project will redevelop the South Seminole Hospital in Longwood, Fla., into a freestanding ED facility. Construction on the Longwood location is expected to start in 2024.
