Novant Health Tops Out Hospital Project In North Carolina
Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.) held a topping out ceremony at the new Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. The $154 million, 216,236-square-foot project will include an emergency department, women’s care and birthing suites, and diagnostic and surgical services. The 38-acre site will also feature walking trails and space for community events. Northwestern Memorial To Add Heart Hospital In Chicago
Northwestern Memorial Hospital is expanding its cardiac care capacity with the addition of the Northwestern Medicine Bluhm Heart Hospital at its campus in Chicago. The facility will house 141 beds. Additionally, the hospital plans to collaborate with community partners to develop outreach and education efforts to support heart health and address the social determinants of health. Behavioral Health Unit Under Construction In New Jersey
Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center (Perth Amboy, N.J.) has started construction on a new behavioral health unit in Perth Amboy. The inpatient center will provide geriatric psychiatric care and dual diagnosis (psychiatry/addiction) services with plans for other specialty care programs to be added to the unit in the future.
