Essentia Health Opens $900M Replacement Hospital In Duluth, Minn.
Integrated health system Essentia Health (Duluth, Minn.) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its new $900 million Vision Northland replacement hospital in Duluth, according to the website mprnews.org. The 18-story facility houses 344 patient rooms and 100,000 square feet of shelled space on five floors. Additionally, the hospital uses 24 robots stationed at different chargers throughout the building for clean linen and food delivery and garbage collection. For more on this project, go here.
